Rose is a specialist in Energy and Natural Resources Law.

Has worked at the Ministry of Mines and Energy in Namibia where she provided technical legal assistance and advice and liaised with the Office of the Attorney General to advise on high-value, complex transactions spanning the mineral and energy value chains. As a member of the Ministry’s Mineral Prospecting and Mining Rights Advisory committee, she participated in the evaluation of mineral rights applications. Rose is a member of the African Union’s Expert Team that is currently drafting a Model Mining Law, which will guide the Member States of the African Union on how to optimize revenues from their mineral resources.

Member of a pool of specialists for the Trade, Oceans and Natural Resources Directorate of the Commonwealth Secretariat.

Experienced in conveyancing and commercial transactions having worked at Kimondo, Gachoka and Company Advocates and Ramesh Manek Advocates where she advised on structuring and setting up their businesses, perfecting of securities on behalf of various banks and drawing and registration of conveyances, among other legal transactions.

Adept at legal research having completed her articles of pupilage at the Court of Appeal in 2011 where she undertook research on various aspects of law for the then 11 Judges of Appeal. She was among the pioneer group of pupils at the Judiciary.
